"Que Pensez-Vous Des Six? our On Ne Peut Pas Etre Tranquille"
This fabulous highly stylized, carefully colored antique print was contained in a series entitled ‘Gazette du Bon Ton’; a periodical devoted to the depiction of Parisian high fashion designs of the 1920’s. The clothing, background elements and the postures and attitudes of the subjects all reflect the “The Gilded Age.” The names of the designers of each of the fabulous gowns are recorded below the capitalized French titles. In this case, the "robe de soir" is by paul Poiret.
9 ½ x 7 3/8 inches, sheet. Colored lithograph with some pouchoir additions. Very good condition with light over all patina. Beautiully custom framed to a finished size of 13 x 10 3/4 inches.
