A special favorite of ours from a series of roosters, chickens, poultry and barnyard fowl published in Germany circa 1890 as The Pocket-Book of Flying Breeds. The publishers fully exploited the capabilities of the new technique of chromolithographic color printing to create charming beautifully colored original prints of heritage breeds. A wonderful gift for that person on your list who loves the decorative qualities of these birds. The small prints can fit into just about any kitchen, pantry, etc.

Handsomely framed in veneer burl moulding to a finished size of 6 1/4 x 8 3/8 inches, overall.
