"Sib bu Sendling"

This engraving was included as part of topographical work illustrating Bavaria entitled, Historico Topographica Descriptio. It was published in Munich in four volumes between 1701-1726 by Michael Wenig a court engraver. The engravings detail castles and churches, and the gardens and outbuildings that served the estates. These engravings are not only delightful images but are historically significant as faithful representations of 16th century German estates.
