Robert Morden was a well known British mapmaker of the late 17th century. He is best known for his large county maps of England. His maps are decorative and detailed containing a great deal of information including roads, estates, parkland, etc.

Hand colored copperplate engraving.
Good condition though trimmed to within 1/8 inch of plate and floated within matting.
 One small nick into plate at bottom left.
