"Woodcock Shooting"

A beautiful composition showing a hunter aiming at the woodcook his two dogs are pointing. A wonderful small engraving of a very desirable subject by one of the foremost team of British sporting artists and publishers, Samuel Howitt and Edward Orme from The British Sportsman, published in 1812.
