George Bradshaw (American 1880-1968) was a noted Trenton, New Jersey based painter, illustrator and print maker whose works included New Jersey scenes including Trenton and Newark and etchings of 20 colleges, including 19 scenes of Princeton University. He was a member of the Brooklyn Society of Etchers, the Chicago Society of Etchers and the North Shore Artists Association.
Nassau Hall on Princeton’s campus was the largest stone building in the American Colonies when it was constructed in 1756 to house the “College of New Jersey.” Wonderful description of this iconic Princeton landmark.
