“Plan Releve du Chateau de Marly”
Gabriel PERELLE (1604-1677), was a celebrated French engraver who worked in the Cabinet of the King Louis XIV known for the quality of his maps and views. This engraving was included in a work titled Recueille des plus belles Veues des Maisons de France châteaux des environs avec leurs jardins, an extensive collection of fine engravings depicting important French châteaux and gardens, including Versailles and Fountainebleau, as well as Parisian views and architectural landmarks.
