“A Hint to the Society for the Suppression of Vice”

This humorous antique print shows a man standing on tiptoe to cover the private parts of an enormous male statue with his hat.  The engraving is dedicated to “Arthur Duke of Wellington and his Brave companions in arms this statue of Achilles cast in French Brass is inscribed by their Countrywomen June 18, 1822.”
