“County Map of the States of GEORGIA and ALABAMA”
A bright map by Samuel Augustus Mitchell in the style that made his maps famous. There is lots of easy to read detail of Alabama, Georgia and the Florida panhandle. There are also two inset maps : a detailed map of Savannah with key below identifying buildings, squares, etc. and an inset of Atlanta showing the superior rail transportation that prompted the move of the capital 15 years before from Milledgeville to Atlanta.
