"Enfin! Qu'Avez-Vous, Chere Amie? ou Les Nerfs"
This fabulous highly stylized, carefully colored antique print was contained in a series entitled ‘Gazette du Bon Ton’; a periodical devoted to the depiction of Parisian high fashion designs of the first quarter of the nineteenth century. The clothing, background elements, the postures, and the attitudes of the subjects all reflect a taste for the sophisticated style and taste of the art deco jazz age. The names of the designers of each of the fabulous clothing are recorded below the capitalized French titles. In this case, a man and a woman elegantly dressed for dinner in Worth couture discuss what has brought her to tears.
