Wonderful, detailed diminutive map from the 1628 edition of Mercator-Jansson's "Atlas Minor" published in Amsterdam. This almost 400 year old copperplate engraved map of northeastern Italy shows named cities including Venize, Verona, Padua, the coastline on the Adriatic Sea, Gulf of Venice, rivers, lakes including Lake Garda, and mountains drawn as individual mounds. Full original color. A lovely little treasure.
