A lovely specimen watercolor, possibly intended for inclusion in a bulb catalogue. "Tulipa" is inscribed in old ink in the lower left. The paper is watermarked 1816.
Correctly and appropriately framed in gold molding and matted with hand painted French washes and gold tape.
