This map offers a wonderful view of the southeastern section of the borough of West Chester. The map includes the Villa Maria Academy, along with Chester County Hospital. West Chester Friends School and Friends Meeting House. The Sharples Separator Co., responsible for the creation of the first American invented cream separator, is now listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. Marshall Square, now known as Marshall Square Park, became a public park in 1848, after it was first created to be an arboretum and a place for botanical studies. If you are a lover of West Chester this map is a great way have a bit of history right in your home.
