This beautiful valley glacier cradled on the northern slopes of the Mont Blanc is every alpinist's dream to hike and one of the most famous attractions in the Chamonix Valley. An original hand colored lithograph included as an illustration in a view book titled, Petites Vues de Suisse, published both in Paris by Goupil et Fils and in New York by M. Knoedler in 1863. Archivally framed in curly maple frame.
